Maa Baglamukhi Puja

1. 1Preparation and Purification

   Begin with a bath and dress in clean yellow clothes. Clean the puja area and place a wooden platform covered with yellow cloth.

2. 2Installation of Deity

   Place the idol or image of Maa Baglamukhi on the altar, decorated with yellow flowers, garlands, and a yellow chunri.

3. 3Sankalp (Sacred Vow)

   State your name, gotra, and purpose for the puja while sitting on a yellow mat facing east or north.

4. 4Invocation (Aavahan)

   Invoke the Goddess by chanting: 'Om Hreem Baglamukhi Sarva Dushtanaam Vacham Mukham Padam Stambhaya Jivhaam Keelaya Budhim Vinashaya Hreem Om Swaha'

5. 5Offerings

   Offer yellow flowers, turmeric, sweets, and fruits while reciting mantras.

6. 6Havan (Fire Ritual)

   Perform fire ritual with mango wood, ghee, turmeric and yellow mustard seeds while chanting the Baglamukhi Moola Mantra.

7. 7Aarti and Prasad

   Conclude with aarti using a lit diya and distribute prasad.

8. 8Meditation and Closure

   Meditate on the Goddess's form, seek blessings, and offer gratitude.
