Historical Significance & Mythology

The Maa Baglamukhi Temple in Nalkheda holds a supreme position among Tantric practitioners. According to legend, the temple's establishment dates back directly to the Mahabharata era, when Lord Krishna advised Yudhishthira to worship Goddess Baglamukhi here to secure victory against the Kauravas.

Unlike typical temples, this shrine does not have a traditional sculptor. The idol of the goddess is believed to be Swayambhu (self-manifested).

"Maa Baglamukhi is the ultimate paralyzing force of the universe. She controls speech, movement, and intellect. Devotees flock to Nalkheda heavily when all other legal and social doors close upon them."

The Unique Architecture & Vastu

The temple's geographical positioning is highly strategic in Tantra Shastra. It faces the East, and significantly, there is a crematorium located directly behind the temple, with the Lakhundar river flowing nearby. This specific tri-junction (River, Temple, Crematorium) creates a massive vortex of concentrated Tantric energy, making rituals performed here devastatingly effective.

Core Rituals Performed Here

Maha Havan For Court Cases

The Nalkheda temple is universally recognized as the final resort for unresolvable legal disputes. Priests perform complex yellow-themed havans (using turmeric, yellow mustard, and yellow fabrics) to invoke the Goddess's Stambhan (paralyzing) power against opponents.
