Maa Baglamukhi Shatru Nashak Puja

1. 1Preparation

   Select an auspicious date and time, preferably during Vaishakh Shukla Ashtami or Gupt Navratri, by consulting the Panchang. Clean the puja area and set up an altar with an idol or picture of Maa Baglamukhi.

2. 2Sankalp

   Begin with a resolve (sankalp) by stating your name, gotra (if known, else use Kashyap Gotra), and the purpose of the puja, such as enemy neutralization or victory in disputes.

3. 3Invocation

   Light a ghee lamp and offer yellow flowers, turmeric, and sandalwood paste to invoke the goddess. Chant the Maa Baglamukhi Moola Mantra: 'Om Hleem Bagalaamukhee Devyai Hleem Om Namah.'

4. 4Mantra Japa

   Use a turmeric or yellow crystal rosary to chant the Baglamukhi Shatru Nashak Mantra: 'Om Hleem Bagalaamukhee Devyai Hleem Hreem Kleem Shatru Naasham Kuru.' Chant 108 times or as advised by a priest.

5. 5hawan

   Perform a hawan by offering ghee, yellow mustard, and turmeric into a consecrated fire while chanting mantras.

6. 6Offerings

   Present yellow cloth, nine lemon garlands, and a coconut wrapped in black cloth (facing west) to the goddess.

7. 7Aarti and Prasad

   Conclude with Maa Baglamukhi aarti, distribute prasad (panchmewa, sindoor, and raksha sutra), and seek blessings for protection.

8. 8Repeat for Five Days

   For maximum efficacy, perform the puja for at least five consecutive days.
