Use a brass or silver diya. Fill it with yellow mustard oil or pure ghee. Place cotton wicks (preferably dipped in turmeric). Add a small piece of camphor.
Light yellow dhoop or sandalwood agarbatti. Offer yellow marigold or kaner flowers at Mother's lotus feet.
Hold the Aarti lamp in your right hand and ring the bell with your left. Wave the lamp 7 times clockwise from Mother's feet up to her crown.
Bow down with humility. Sprinkle a few drops of holy water around the lamp and take the Aarti flame over your forehead.
